mostra_T | 11th edition, 2026
The Cascais Experimental Theater (TEC) provides a platform for experimental art, offering a diverse lineup of performances featuring many young artists in a festival format.
mostra_T was created 11 years ago in response to the TEC’s need to address the countless requests for performance opportunities that we received throughout the year. We found that the majority of these requests came from newly formed groups of alumni from the Cascais Professional Theater School, so we decided to bring them together and create a youth theater showcase, in which one of the key criteria for participation would be to include students or alumni of the Cascais Professional Theater School (EPTC) in the production. It has been a success, and as such, we are continuing the project, opening it up to students from other schools and to other artistic experiences.
The mostra_T includes eight participating productions, some of which are world premieres. This year, it will take place from September 8 to October 3, and each group will present two performances.
