“The Curious Garden” Storytime and Sensory Activity
How can a small garden transform a city? In this activity, we’ll discover the answer by reading the book “The Curious Garden” by Peter Brown, an inspiring story about the power of nature, care, and community.
After the reading, the children will be invited to explore the Community Garden using their five senses. Through scents, textures, colors, and sounds, they’ll discover aromatic plants, flowers, and other natural elements, while also participating in small challenges and sensory boxes that spark curiosity and a connection to nature.
An activity designed to encourage imagination, observation, and direct contact with the natural world.

Reading of the story “The Curious Garden”;
Sensory exploration of the garden using the five senses;
Sensory boxes with natural elements to touch, smell, and discover;
