Easter dinner by chef Luís Lavrador
On April 10, the Supper will be inspired by the book ‘Ao sabor da Bíblia’ and commented on by chef Luís Lavrador, author of the book.
This will be a unique dinner in partnership with the Estoril School of Hospitality and Tourism, where you will learn about the history and flavours behind the book of books - the Bible, which you will certainly remember and give more meaning to this Easter.
About chef Luís Lavrador:
Master in Food - Sources, Culture and Society and PhD in Tourism, Leisure and Culture, from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Coimbra, with the thesis: The table among Men, Commensality and Gastronomy in biblical texts, a discourse for our times. Dissertation and doctoral thesis published in book form and awarded by the Centre's Tourism Entity. He has published several studies, including Ao Sabor da Bíblia. He is a researcher at CECHUC and CITUR. He teaches at the Coimbra School of Hospitality and Tourism - TP, and is a Visiting Professor at the Coimbra School of Education, where he teaches on the first Gastronomy degree programme created in Portugal. For several years he was head chef for the AA national football team, organised numerous social and cultural events, is a consultant in the hotel and restaurant industry, a gastronomic mentor and develops gastronomic products. He was the Ambassador for the Region of Coimbra - European Region of Gastronomy 2020/2022.
